My name is Karl Adami

I was born in Estonia in 1991. As a child, I spent all my summers at grandmom’s home, which was surrounded by forests, rivers, life. At one point, I managed to steer away from country life as well as from nature, but luckily not for too long. I had my first contact with nature photography when I was about 15 years old and to be honest, photography brought me back to nature. In a way you could say, that my interest in nature was reborn out of my interest in photography.

Nature and wildlife photography helps me to kick back from stressful days and helps me to recharge my batteries for all endeavors ahead. Apart from photography, lately I have been shooting various unique moments in nature. It has turned out to be my new hobby and has consecutively led to employment with Estonian Public Broadcasting, through which I showcase my extraordinary encounters with wildlife. Over the years, a large number of my photos has received recognition from public, both local and foreign alike. They have been published in various magazines (including international National Geographic) and taken part in competitions in Estonia as well as abroad. Furthermore, some of them have been exhibited in Japan.
